Retirement

During my working life I was chief engineer and technical advisor in the offshore industry and as hobby I was/am building all sorts of technical models. Sometimes the normal available tools were not suitable to come to a good result and thus I was always looking for home made special tools. Just surfing the internet I cam across this site and it draw my attention. I think there are valuable ideas and suggestions to be find. Perhaps I can contribute to it as well.

I once thought of trying to build a 1/40th scale mod of the Bullwinkle platform but nixed the idea since i would have had to dig a 33 ft deep hole in my back yard for the legs.
