    RGN trailer neck rebuild

Me and a friend of mine bought a 2 axle RGN trailer with a 3rd flip axle about a year ago then sold the flip axle for nearly as much as we paid for the trailer. So it came down to either scrap it for about as much as we sold the flip axle for or rebuild the neck then determine how much we want to spend on the trailer itself
    What it started out as

Wow! I know a guy that dipped an entire mini body in acid to lighten it for a race car he was building but leaving something to rust and then knocking the rust off, Brilliant! No hydrogen embitterment from the acid reaction either.
Pure genius Frank, pure genius. Learn something new everyday.

At least you won't forget where you parked it. Just look for the yellow glow.

And of course, the corrugations being vertical, have greater strength against the load on the neck.
Nothing comical regarding filler rods comes to mind, including drinking straws and stir sticks...

In other news, assembling a stack of cardboard storage bins here in Anaheim for my protege. I should rustle up a hot melt glue gun and weld inner corners and tabs, beefing up life span.

I am all for paint things with safety yellow. I attached a couple of pictures of the things I build. They are painted safety yellow. I tell the customer that he can put them away and never loose them. lolRGN trailer neck rebuild-0913181422a.jpg
