Its only tongue twisting to those of us who weren't born there, During the over 3 years I was stationed there, my conversational low Deutch got pretty good, but my German friends told me I put an Australian accent into my pronunciations. A guy from Texas speaking German with an Aussi. accent, that must have been a really irritating sound to them.

Shame more countries won't invest in such tools, here in the UK there's a car detailer and others who stop and clean dirty road signs they come across, even though some of our civic authorities have threatened them with prosecution! Clean speed limit signs reduce the income from fines apparently...

I remember a case many years ago where a guy had pressure washed a low height sign over an underpass near Newark NJ. was fined and threatened with jail time for of all things, the unauthorized removal of the soot and grime obscuring the lettering on the sign.
