Yup its official we are nuts!Looking at it thinking about it and even improving it.....

Too much effort. He shouldn't have to strain his neck like that to get a chip. Back to the drawing board...

It does not look to me like the vacuum tube is long enough to reach the bottom of the can!!!

I guess he thinks his gadget is helping him to be more productive at his computer, but he would be far more productive to just pour some chips out on a plate and every once in a while, pick up a chip and put it in his mouth. Having the running vacuum strapped to his back and the string tied to his hat having to move his head for chip retrieval would be far more distracting causing loss of concentration
