He watched too many dukes of Hazard shows or Night rider or, or , or anyway I guess he felt he just couldn't wait for the next ferry. At least he didn't miss the boat

And, he managed to squeeze it into a tight space.

It was also a very flat landing.

Sorry the driver is dead, happy nobody else was hurt. You can see the RV hitting the ramp and launching about 6 seconds into the clip.

That lady just about lost her feet. Quick thinking. And if there was a driver they didn't make it.

It looks like a solar panel or something flew off the roof and hit her in the feet!. Hopefully he was the sole passenger in that motorhome! He must have been running flat out to make that distance with that kind of weight! I know there was a drop of but it still looks like it was 40 or 50 feet or more! Those things are 15,000 to 20,000 lbs empty!

The article stated the RV was out of control. a lot of ferry docks are located at the bottom of some very steep hills, but even at that just trying to estimate the distance from the dock to the ferry, instead of being out of control it would almost seem that the driver was really gouging on the gas to make that jump

RV goes airborne and crashes into ferry - GIF-image_2022-01-26_190321.png

Not that far from where I live. About 480 miles. I have been close to there, but not exactly there. Canada is slight large. Takes about a week to drive across.
