oops, theres that spellen thing again I thought it said support bras...
There was a compound reason I made and put the bars in the booth. First and foremost, to have a smaller surface contact area of the parts being cleaned.
Secondly, by having the parts elevated from the bottom of the booth this allows the media a clear pathway around the parts to fall into the collection trough.
Must make it easier loading and unloading larger parts as well I would think. I made a table out of square tube, angle iron and open mesh treadwalk that does essentially the same thing but for smaller stuff. All breaks apart for storage on a couple of nails hammered into a roof cross brace.
Handy for painting multiple small items at once as well.
It's said, one picture equals one thousand (or ten thousand, depending on who is asked) words.
I like both. Diagrams and pictures do one thing, but a couple words "breaks apart for storage" has me thinking about lap joints, getting the box to decently circulate media.
