The scabs, fake finger nails and lost bandaids just add to the texture.

I guess the people that buy cooked bacon are the same ones who want someone else to make their sandwiches.

No, you probably did a splendid job. I guess I was implying that people often don't want to bother with things such as this are maybe getting lazy. I don't know but I'm sure someone will enlighten me.

Good friend of mine used to be an international chef and my brother worked the super-yacht circuit for years as a chef after leaving the Navy, how do you think all that visual delight at the fancy restaurant is arranged? By ungloved hand.

Talk about a mind destroying, repetitive job. Surely they could make a machine for that job that would be quicker, more consistent and easier. When I was younger I got a job in a chemical factory where they placed me next on a conveyor, where boxes of bottles came slowly past, and my job was to slightly tighten the caps on, I lasted 2 days before I walked off. I would have been brain dead in a week! Never again.

I always figured that hands get washed, gloves don't. (worked in enough restaurants to have seen it plenty of times) and if you think minimum wage prep cooks that hardly speak english would change gloves between prepping chicken and salad..... guess again.
