But why, what's the point?
Because they can. Might be handy for interrogation rooms instead of one-way mirrors install see through TV's. Or classrooms the students would see their lessons being projected from the tv while a teacher or teacher's assistant could be monitoring what was actually going on.Quote:

Yes, but for surreptitious viewing of interrogations a mirror is much cheaper, won't break down, doesn't need power and lasts forever.
