Companies are always finding problems and revving up their designs, and will regularly scrap entire wafers in the middle of production. So you can buy whole junk wafers on eBay for fairly cheap. I have one in my display case next to all sorts of sundry crap.

Wow, That's really cool! I saw some for as cheap as $25, the CPU wafers would look cool displayed next to my PC. Thanks for the idea!
