That "Secret Life of the Fax Machine" sprang into my mind, too, a good watch. I met Tim Hunkin recently at his amusement arcade in London, Novelty Automation, which is well worth a visit and will probably appeal to members.

Back around 1990 on cable TV "The Secret Life of Machines " was on one of the channels, probably TLC or Discovery. I never missed it. Very entertaining and interesting. One of the machines in the arcade was featured and it was fascinating how it was designed. Like you said, there are many on screwtube.
