    and what is the thing you focus most on for "standing out of place"?

    in the 1980's the idea of a negro executive was obviously OK, as also the idea of smoking a pipe in public... nowadays I notice the pipe and think "what the hell?"
    I find it funny to see things like this, and see how perception has changed over time.

    Wow, I didn't know they even had that back then.

    Ditto that on the smoking. Funny how perceptions change over time.

    I have worked in grocery stores, hospital laboratories and pharmacies it was common to see people smoking.....oh and on airplanes!
