I only use such deburring tools on stationary items. When a turned item needs manual deburring in a lathe I use a traditional 3 cornered scraper. It is simply a better tool for the job.

It also doesn't risk removing the temper of the deburring tool if it's high carbon tool steel. Did a quick search, and Noga blades are HSS, so it wouldn't be a factor for them. I believe the ones I have are not a name brand, and are tool steel, so YMMV. I will say that I've been using the same blade in my class for most of the past 7 years. I do not use it on material that's turning in a lathe. It is a hand tool, and I use it as such. Though it is good to know they can be sharpened.

It has been over 40 years since I used one of those and have forgotten all about them until you mentioned them. I am going to see if I can find one.
