I've been saving and collecting 2 ltr drink bottles for 5 years now. Currently probably have 2 to 3 hundred lbs. of them Next I need to construct a shredder to reduce them to granules Haven't decided what to do with them after that might just melt into a slab or something, but a filament extrusion press could be an idea then a printer could be in store.
Never try to tell me it can't be done
When I have to paint I use KBS products

Frank S - Grind (flake) the bottles, Pelletize them with a simple screw extruder through a "spaghetti" screen with a rotating fly knife into a water bath and dry them, then you can either use them or name you price!

But about the boat... What if I want a different color?

One of the more famous 3d printer test prints is a Benchy Boat. #3DBenchy – The jolly 3D printing torture-test

I'm saddened that this isn't one.

There is an even bigger 3D printer on You Tube that is used for printing whole houses using a sort of concrete sausage.
