    As a kid, Lego wasn't a thing yet. Have seen so many large static models that must have taken a lot of trial fitting to get the right profiles; dang impressive. I know kids who have a good development of space-volume-perspective as a result. That's what the best toys do, make tangible out of pure visual. Even if it's a cardboard box.
    I wonder if engineers use Legos to suss out mechanisms, simple physics or construction details, and how many engineers were initiated at young ages by creating assemblies.
