    Powder Weasure from Cracked Brass

With the LockDown, I am also stocking up on ammo for the hunting season.

This time I managed to break the little plastic measuring spoon one get when you buy the scale.

Solution, Cut down a cracked brass case, and then keep trimming it down till 2 measures is just about 100% the correct load.

I weigh every load so final adjustment is made with a tweezers.

Once it is the correct length, solder some copper wire to it to create a handle. The nice thing is you can optimize the angle as the powder in the tin goes down.

The plastic measure was always 2 and a bit scoops and too short a handle when the tin was just about empty.

I reload as well; no objection to dispensing certain powders by volume, especially extruded varieties like you are using. A dribbler is made easily, threading a tube 1/4-20 and ported through the middle of one side. The base can be aluminum or brass. Mine is RCBS, weighted bottom cavity with lead shot and epoxy.
Never thought of posting my reloading and gun-work tools....hmmm
