I see 8 "loads" of water, maybe 1-2 gallons per load in 13 seconds. Thats about 37 loads per minute, 2220 per hour. So they are pumping between 2220 and 4440 gallons per hour. Thats a lot of water!! I realize they cannot do that for an hour, but it is still an impressive number.

On second thought, they very well might be able to do that for an hour!!

Two guys, each with a bucket, moving the same volume of water in the same period of time, would use less energy.
They would not be fighting the tension in the ropes,
