    Neat job, thanks for posting.
    I have a question: How do you know the crane can widthstand 500Kg?
    I need to make my own jib crane, kind of yours, so I looked into some notes of structural engineering to figure out how to dimension it. At first glance your crane seems to elastically deflect under the load of that chunk of iron I beam.
