Cool Antique hammer restoration | ESTWING 12 OZ TINNER'S HAMMER

I needed to make a new handle for this old Estwing tinner's hammer so I used Marblewood, Yellowheart & white birch for the laminated handle.

    Nice job!
After all that work, how difficult was it to actually use the hammer to hit something?

It was pretty satisfying work, so I didnt mind it much. I was actually surprised how awesome it works. I had to bend a couple small L brackets and the pointed end of the hammer was perfect for the job. The hammer is heavy enough to deliver a good bit of force and it is really balanced.
