If you are a TIG or MIG welder you NEED IT!

Hello my friends! If you are a TIG welder you must have this tool!
As TIG welders we are sometimes required to weld very small parts, it will not always be simple ... but pay attention! With the tool you see me building in the video, you will not believe how easy it becomes. Say hello to the "Third Hand"

    Nicely made.
Personally I prefer the 3 legged non-magnetic type. I have used those with magnetic bases but find them less easy to move around than the pure gravity versions like this one.

    But with copper legs.

Magnetig, spring loaded version can be used with vise too. When welding end caps to pipes or something like that. I think i will make this when i found some time.

    But with copper legs.
I see a use for both - and the magnetic ones can be used "upside down" - one of the attractions of the magnetic grasshopper style clamp is the ability to attach it on a vertical or inverted surface (ceiling) and have it hold a cleat in place for tacking up.
