My dad worked at a small inland sporting goods and boat store when I was a kid. I would have been about 8 at the time.

My introduction to work other than around home. I was my dads go-fer as he would install things that customers wanted on their new boats. I was also the one that got to crawl into the small spaces under decks, etc to put nuts on the screws attaching accessories, or pull wires for lights, etc.

They had a jeep exactly like that haul boats around and make service calls. I used to sit on the engine cover between the bucket seats and learned to shift gears with my dad driving, working the clutch, me working the shifter. Exact same color and everything!!!
