    Modified broom & handbrush

    Modified broom & handbrush-575beaf0-3684-4c45-ab26-d20e81224371.jpeg

Probably a lot of us have done this, cut pieces off a broom, or lengthened the handle of a hand brush, but a search revealed nothing.
I don’t mind bending down to use a dustpan, but crawling about on hands and knees to get in all the corners and behind boxes etc is a pain, it’s getting hard to stand up again! As I hate debris beneath my feet, I use these more than once every working day. I know that I should tidy up when I have finished but usually go on until too tired, so clean up is usually effected the following morning.
Also, I have cut off all but 4 tines from a spring rake, for the garden.

I know what you mean about getting up. Sometimes when working on a project and a bolt or drill bit falls on the floor and rolls under the bench I use a magnet on a small shaft that extends to retrieve an item. It saves the old bones and makes life a little easier. Mr. Mikey.

Magnets on a telescoping wand can be very useful but often nothing quite fits the bill as well as a narrow broom or hand brush with an extended handle for retrieving that dropped brass screw from behind or under something, or cleaning from around table legs close to a wall
Never try to tell me it can't be done
When I have to paint I use KBS products

While magnets are dependable; brushes don't give a whit how material identifies itself.

I have just dropped a tray of ball bearings! I discovered that they weren’t all steel, after all!
