Do people not know that tinnitus is a thing, right! Maybe they are a bit brain dead from having their brains vibrate around inside their heads.

They know, but don't care. Surely it hasn't been so long that you've forgotten being indestructible.

Imagine being so ill-informed as to perform (or pay for) all the work necessary to commit the depicted act of stupidity AND to top it off you publish the video.

I clicked on it to see just how a fish was going to set off an airbag.

In the olden days when we lived in an apartment, back before cheap high-power audio equipment existed, one of our neighbors would play her stereo too loudly. I called the landlord, which could hear it over the phone, but whose response was to send a letter to all of the tenants reminding them that loud music was unacceptable. When I called the police the dispatcher could hear it and asked whether I was in the neighbor's apartment). Repeated police visits had no effect, so I moved my 18" Peavey Scorpions to the adjoining wall, plugged my cassette Walkman into my Peavey Mark III amp playing new age (I think it was Enya, which has a lot of low-end) and cranked it up until their music stopped. A few rounds of this and they never played their stereo uncomfortably loud again.
She was an idiot who said that she didn't think that we could hear it because sound only goes up (we were on the first of three floors).

I still have that Peavey kit.
