They estimate these things have a 30 year life and the ROI is 15 - 20 years. That gives them plenty of time to jack the prices every year for the foreseeable future! 3M to 4M to build one and $40k -$50k maintenance costs... Build more damn dams! we have hundreds of thousands of miles of rivers we can tap into with little environmental impact and a much faster ROI and less maintenance costs.
