Two different sections of rail actually. And I didn't think that those cutters were going to do the job. Kind of interesting. I have been at places that processed metal this way.

If the machines can get a bite on the metal, they can eat it but just like the poison of a daddy longlegs bite, its fangs are so small and soft it cannot even bite an adult finger, but they can make a small child sick

Rail is insanely hard. About as hard as tool steel. If you throw it in a mill a carbide end mill will barely even touch it. You end up with a tiny bite out of a piece of rail and a ruined end mill. It's torches, zip cuts, grinding discs or nothing when it comes to working with rail.

So, then a 5 gal glass carboy could just tumble about until the glass broke.

I wonder how much horsepower is used?

The image suggesting the shredder was goning to eat that rail section caught my attention and I skimmed through the video expecting to see some amazing footage but it was cut short of satisfaction. Of course, much of the other stuff on the menu was pretty cool and oddly statisfying to watch.
