I do not think we can assume it is empty. The way he is unfolding the mechanism is just good technique. He appears to have done it before as the movements are well thought out and in proper sequence. That appears to be a high cube 40' container. Empty it is in the range of 9,000 pounds, max weight is about 67,000. In most cases a container is going to be dropped off either full or empty, then picked up in the opposite condition. Unless it is going to be used for temporary storage someplace.
