    OUCH.

That brings back BAD MEMORIES from VietNam, 1969-70

As a Radio Repairman, on NIGHT CREW, we sometimes had to TEST our Radios WHILE IN FLIGHT,

    It was "my Night"

    And I learned what an AUTO ROTATION is . . . .

From 5,000 feet the Pilot DISCONNECTS, the BLADES, from the Engine !

The Aircraft FREE FALLS 4500 Feet . . . . And then the Pilot re-engages the Blades to engine.

There is No RIDE on Earth that is similar, NOR could you PAY me ENOUGH to due it AGAIN.

That appears to be an ejection test. The blades separate via simultaneous explosives at the joints. The "humans" appear to be dummies without any movement of their joints.
