really blends the 2 components well
Most likely the 2rollers turn at different speeds developing a shearing action to blend the different materials.
Nope if the rollers were rotating it different speeds the material would shear alright but it would require 2 more rollers to recombine it.
the rollers being real close together is all that is required the way he places the roll in the machine from the end.
the same thing can be accomplished by a single auger forcing the material through an orifice like a meat grinder does but this required more power as the material would be forced through a small hole . There are blending machines such as I described I have seen them used in conjunction with injection molding machines.
How fake meat is made ;)
