Simple way to tighten up a loose ball bushing
On Semi trailer some have a nylon ball shaped bushing the S cam shaft goes through These bushings should fit fairly snug in the housings but sometimes new bushings are a little loose in the old housings a good way to fix this is to wrap them a few times with a glass cloth tape
3 M products makes a great tape for this it is abrasion resistant durable and non compressible Every bit as long lasting as the bushing will be
I use 3M 27 glass cloth electrical tape It will last for years if you wrap the bushing so it fits tight enough not to move or rotate in the mounting socket
