Simple woodworking vise spacer
If you have a woodworking vise such as this one:

When clamping a small part on one side, you probably have experimented the annoying problem of seeing the mobile jaw tilting out of parallelism and your piece rocking as you are trying to work on it.
What you need is a spacer on the other side of the vise, you need to press something approximately as thick as the part you are clamping in the vise.

Note that the peg prevents the spacer from falling out of the vise when you open it.
