    Almost as cool as the solar eclipse yesterday. Did anyone else get to see it? It was amazing.

    Didn't seem to get as dark as I remember them from before, but we only had about a 98% and no cloud cover. It's been darker than it got here in thunderstorms I think it would have been cooler if the thunder and Hailstorm we had late last night had come 10 hours earlier. Then it might have gotten pitch dark.

    We drove to Conway , AR which was almost exactly dead center of the path. A four hour drive. We were in a Walmart parking lot. A few others were there. I wasn't prepared for what I saw at totality. It really was special. We were glad we made the trip. I saw an almost total in Augusta, GA March 7, 1970. It was pretty cool. Got much darker this time.
