How is that chain drive system working out for you as opposed to having spur gears?
Every bead roller slitter design I have ever seen or used drove the shafts in opposite directions which would pull the metal into the dies
driving them in the same direction seems to me like it would cause you to have to use more effort to feed the materials and much higher friction in the process.

Ι will agree with Frank S. The shafts in this type of tools must be rotate in the opposite direction.
Also the upper shaft must be adjustable in height (for the correct calibration of molds).
