    Small Hole Deburring Tools

I use these deburring tools for putting a very slight chamfer for drilled holes when using a countersink would remove too much material.

The handles are 3.5” long and made from 0.375” dia. aluminum rod and turned down slightly to 0.364 for a better fit using a 21 pitch knurl. The handles have 1.25” deep holes that were reamed to 0.250 for a sliding fit for the 0.2495” dia. shanks of the solid carbide spherical single cut burrs. The burr diameters are 0.25”. 0.375” and 0.50” and are fastened into the reamed holes with Loctite 680. The tool stand is teak and finished with Cabot Australian Timber Oil – Natural and the same product I use on my solid wood garage doors (this product holds up extremely well against the strong California sunlight).
