It can be built entirely on a Unimat DB200. Of course the build can go faster on a larger lathe, but the Unimat will do a good job.

It can be done using only the Unimat. You will however need to purchase a dovetail cutter or make your own. Making your own dovetail cutter is not difficult to do if you understand cutter geometry and clearance angles. Perhaps a good starting point is to search for some cutter making videos.
