I was renting a garage apartment when I was 20 something and a rat came up through the toilet. I had heard of that before, but I assumed it was BS. You know what happens when you assume. I saw the rat in the bathroom and quickly closed the door to work out a plan. I had a cardboard box ready and opened the door. When he came out, I trapped him under the box. I got my combat boots on and lifted up the box and was trying to stomp him while he ran around in small circles at my feet. He avoided me for a few seconds, but I finally got him. When I went into the bathroom there was water all over the toilet seat. Unbelievable.

Some years ago my wife heard a mouse in the pantry and had the bright idea to pulling items out to find the critter. After a minute or so out came the mouse ran up her arm then down her back into the kitchen. She screamed bloody murder we still laugh about it to this day.
