    Dollars to Doughnuts it's remote-controlled. The way the head swivels to see where it's dumping the snow.
    Notice at the beginning where it stops mid shovel, backs up slightly and then continues to motion? People do that not AI.
    Plus those tiny tires will definitely get stuck on moderately deep snow or slip on ice...

    Agreed. Probably built by some 35-year-old basement dweller so he could clear his mom's sidewalk without having to change out of his pajamas.

    Shoveling is such an inefficient way to move snow. Yes we manually do it that way because, well, about our only option. But if you are some to build a snow removal machine, a blower or "thrower" is much more effective. Also MUCH easier to build.

    I assume that the idea was more to mimic human movement that to efficiently clear snow. The emphasis in robotics in recent years has been all-purpose humanoid.
