Sock inside-out turning workers - GIF

Not exactly sure what we have here. Maybe these socks were sewn inside out, and these people have the job of turning them back the other way?

Not so sure they are turning them inside out so speak as if you will notice they are stretching the open end of the sock over the mandrel. if they were reversing the inside to the outside then they would stretch the toe of the sock over the stand first I think they may be simply insuring that the toe of the tube has been sealed
