almost mimics the movement of thumb 4 thumbs on a single mounting way cool . I've always said that humans hands would be far more adapt at doing things if we had 2 thumbs on each hand and no pinky finger. after all all they are good for is to pick your nose or dig wax out of your ears with.
looks good to me for amputees & arthritic problem folk. Probably 1000 other applications (with or without modification).
That is COOL! Looks to be driven from the shaft in the rear...wonder if it's some kind of gear train driving some kind of jointed spring material?

Wait I think I saw this in a movie once it had to do with an animated elephant with big ears that was constantly picking things up with its trunk then flying off with them, no that's not right it was a bad guy in one of the Jack Sparrow movies where the octopus grabbed things or maybe it was a sinbad movie. Nope I got it it was Men in black and the creature picked up a marble that looked like the earth and rolled it across teh floor.
