You don't need to crack the egs, the dog will eat the shells as well, which is how they would if they found them in the wild. We gave our labs eggs by just putting the whole raw egg in the bowl with everything else and they would gingerly pick up the egg and with a quick lift of the head, suck the egg up, crunch the shell and slurp up the whole egg in a smooth motion, not wasting a drop...
