Spring forming GIF

There is a fairly well-known category of GIFs known as "mechanical GIFs" or "machine GIFs". Pretty self-explanatory, and I like to feature them here.

But nestled within that category is a subcategory of Spring Forming GIFs. There are more ways to form a spring than I had imagined, and they are all satisfying to watch. Turns out this our third such spring forming GIF, and I still have a couple of nice ones in my Tool Talk folder to post.
