    Sprinkler grill

Lots of summer still remaining folks. Is a sprinkler grill #1 on your project list?

GIF and short perfectly-subtitled video below. Appears to be a group of Norwegian gentlemen? With either a fireman or a man dressed as a fireman, working the propane tank.

Like many absurd DIY projects, this one contains some gems. First of all, one of the guys notes the legitimate culinary advantage of such a crazy setup - the angled flame delivery of the sprinkler addresses the age old problem of sausages or hot dogs being unevenly browned on the "sides", even with a perfect flip. More importantly, is that a giant red warning triangle painted on the side of their house? For aircraft? Or simply a warning to sane people to stay away?

Perhaps somebody with electronic knowledge could work out a way to automate the gas delivery?

With a metal frame and the right burner arrangement that would be a really cool setup. Use a stepper motor to drive the back and forth motion because with real burners you wouldn't be using as much gas. A small windshield wiper motor would work pretty well for that too. That has some interesting possibilities.
    Thanks for posting that!
