Saw this on Youtube and enjoyed watching the process. Again - that flycutting finish is second to none. I should break mine out more often!

Yes - I use an HSS bit ground with a bit of positive rake, honed on a stone, and a generous nose radius. From there, I use as fast a rotation speed as I have the guts for, plenty of lube, and as slow a feed rate as I have the patience for :)
It gives great results, to my novice eye almost looks like a ground finish, but I don't use the thing often enough.
