    I suppose they can always tile over it later. Just seems counterproductive to do that to what looks like a future workshop to start with a glass smooth floor then add a pattern to it, I can understand doing this for a slab outdoors. But inside all that pattern is going to do is make rolling things like toolboxes or mechanics creepers a nightmare. Plus, it makes the floor a real bear to sweep or keep clean.

    It may be a future workshop, but to me it looks similar to the surface treatment used in cattle barns to prevent slipping and sliding. I could be wrong though and probably am seeing how there are numerous possibilities for the structures future use.

    You might be on to something there. At the very end of the video it shows what appears to be gate frames swung in the open position Though with them being hung at least 2 feet above the floor and quite tall I doubt cattle will be what are contained in the building.
