Storage Box for a Spirit Level

This is a CNC built wooden box for a spirit level.

Beautiful woodworking but those magnetic catches bother me. If someone picks the box up by the lid, a sudden movement or bump could allow the box bottom, along with the level, to fall away. If it were mine, I'd want to have a more positive connection between the two halves of the box.

Yes you are right. The connection is not the best for that heavy spirit level. I should use it in the future only for thinks like jewellery or something like that.
