If that was an Excursion I'd be thinking about trying to buy it since I'll never have time to build one
Since they used the GMC logo, it'd be a Yukon XL, not a Suburban. (same sheet metal, either way)
up until sometime in the late 90s both brands were Suburban
A company I was with had an 89 3/4ton GMC suburban 454 V8 4 sp automatic when towing a 14,000 lb trailer it got 12MPG as opposed to my 89 Dodge with the 5.9 cummins with a mechanics bed loaded down would average better than 17 pulling the same load on the same trailer
My current project (desert expedition/overland) vehicle is an 85 GMC Suburban 3/4 ton (now 1 ton) currently with a late model (91 IIRC) HMMWV surplus with franken-turbo setup. May one day convert to 6BT. My buddy with equivalent expedition style build 72 Suburban installed a 6BT 12V into with my help on some of the fab/machine work. Hard to beat those Cummins diesels.
