    Swing arm radius sanding jig

    Hi guys.
I've build various radius sanding jigs in the past, but the one I made recently seems to be the most successful of all. I'm very pleased with how fast it goes putting a radius and how accurate it is.

It's just a welded square tubing box and an axis mounted on pillow bearings. The axis was drilled for 2 all-threads that hold a piece of kitchen top material. That's where the fretboard is attached with double sided tape. The whole thing slides up and down, so as to adjust for the desired radius.

Great design and execution on the attachment. I like the way you kept control panel intact.

Thanks again guys! More details about the conversion can be found here: http://www.homemadetools.net/forum/y...l-sander-16628
Christophe, the sanding belt was specially ordered! There are companies that can do any size you want. I got this one from a local workshop for 30€ They will just ask you for the desired width, length, abrasive type and backing material and they glue them from large rolls of sandpaper!
