Swing away tool box shelf

I recently bought a wooden tool box to store some of me lathe tooling in but kind of wanted to mount it out of the way
I had a couple of old Hotel Television mounts that held the large TVs I think something like 100LB to a 125 lb rating. Been thinking they would make the perfect mount system for a tooling box
Here is what I came up with
First I cut a shelf out of a formed piece of Auction treasure

then mounted everything on the wall of my machine shop van

I liked the way it looked so well I decided to position both an fractional and a metric drill index on it as well

It sits high enough above the spindle that I might think about mounting an LED tube light fixture under it for those times when I use the lathe with it positioned above it

I am glad you have shown us this, Frank. Your Tv mount looks just like the frame of a stepping exercise machine I am hoarding, with a similar purpose in mind.
