    Taming A Monster Key Ring

Most homeowners have to sift through maybe half a dozen keys to unlock a door. My friend, Ed, has over 100 keys for the facility he maintains. He needed a way to make key searches manageable. This did the trick.

Brass key tags used as separators will project out from the keys to make the separations more visible. Plus they provide a surface onto which a label can be engraved. Grinding the edges of the tags into distinctive shapes may aid tactile selection.

Here's a pic of my keychain - life's pretty simple these days. Now if I could just get that nut off (wish I could remember how I got it on).

I also carry a piece of eight from the Atocha for a fob and my micro-toolchest.

If you can't make it precise make it adjustable.
