tap wrench
Hey everyone,
had enough of trying to use cheap wrenches that even after tightening with vice grips still wanted to come loose.
Mine is 250mm closed made from 1" mild steel, jaws are O1 tool steel tempered to about 50-55 Rockwell, sorry to be so vague, fine file bites just a smidge. Sound about right?

Really like the design Steveohdee. Loose jaws is something I've always thought was an issue with them coming loose all the time. With a close running fit on the jaws and fittings plus the pinned handle/screw it reduces any slop and give more direct drive. As long as the adjustment threads are quality should work well for years. Clever, Well Done! Thanks for sharing.
