I built it for the front door of my workshop, that door hurt me several times and now I put an end to it!

I use a paving block - been working for over 40 years now and never a problem.

It is possible to put either a washing machine or a body of a man that can also work. But I like to make things myself it gives me a sense of satisfaction

Here those are very popular, Finnish name for that is "oven aukipitolaite".

That's specially useful in windy days.

Here those cost about 35$. So, its really worth making, specially if you already have suitable materials and free time.

In our country it is not possible to get it, this thing does not exist in stores at all… but in any case the most fun to build yourself with you have the right materials. Actually why not?

Yep. That really is useful, also good diy build.

I think that the reason why here is many different door openers or holders in the market. Is that nobody cares to hold or open door for a male, no matter how heavy load one is carrying.
