A Throttle Clip for an eBike ~~~ OR ~~~ Hand Molding PVC Pipe

For those with an eBike, here is a way to make a throttle clip for very little money. For the rest of you, here is a process for forming PVC pipe into useful shapes. Without super-human powers, you can bend Schedule 40 PVC pipe to your will!

I've never operated an E-bike so I'm presuming that the throttle is similar to that on a motorcycle - twisting it changes the bike's speed. Does the clip then provide a means of locking the throttle at a desired speed?

The bike has cruise control plus 5 pre-set speeds. I typically use throttle to get started and change to one of these pre-sets. The bike has flattened all of the hills around me that used to confine me to the neighborhood when I rode my regular bike. Lectric did a great job engineering this eBike.

    Rick,

I appreciate your attitude, and methodology when accomplishing a task. Your thumb-throttle control is one more example. Thanks for the idea.

Good idea, cheaper than one of these and tailored to suit the individual: https://www.thevisorshop.com/en/us/O...t/m-15115.aspx
